He graduated from a master's degree in Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford in 2024.

Born in Liège, Junior Mbangala is a Belgian economist and PhD Researcher, specializing in energy optimization and the transition to sustainable solutions.
He's studying a PhD in sustainable urban development at Kellogg College, University of Oxford. He believes in a future where energy needs are met responsibly and sustainably.

Junior is also a consultant for the Manhattan Neighborhood Network where he promotes environmental justice and advocates for social change.
